Finding Your Way Back: Kreesha Turner on Rediscovering Music Through Jazz

What happens when success no longer feels like success?

In this conversation, Kreesha Turner reflects on stepping away from the music industry, rediscovering creativity while living in Bali, and returning to music with a renewed sense of purpose. It's a thoughtful exploration of reinvention, identity, and the courage to build a career on your own terms.

After years away from releasing music, Kreesha Turner found herself at a crossroads.  In this episode of Pop Up Conversations, Kreesha reflects on stepping away from the music industry after a series of difficult experiences, travelling through Southeast Asia, and unexpectedly reconnecting with her love of music during an open mic performance in Bali.  The conversation explores the role jazz played in helping her rediscover presence, creativity, and confidence, as well as the experiences that inspired her latest work, including the single "You're Ego."  This is a conversation about music, identity, healing, and what happens when we find our way back to ourselves.
